Egypt midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou scored the sole goal of Ismaili's 1-0 victory over Nasr in the Egypt Cup quarter-finals.

A fifth-minute strike from the fit-again Abd-Rabou was enough for Ismaili to overcome their second-division opponents and earn a place in the cup semis.

Ismaili will now face Wadi Degla for a place in the final on November 3 or 4 as Zamalek, who beat Military Production a day earlier, play Gaish in the other semi-final clash.

The Dervishes are considered favorites to lift the cup this season, along with 21-time champions Zamalek.
