After in-form striker Amr Gamal had opened the scoring, a second-half brace from Abdullah Al-Saied helped the Reds claim their biggest victory so far this season.
Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ was also on the scoresheet, while MCDR’s consolation goal came from a wonder strike by ex-Ahli defender Hussein Al-Sayed.
The vital win helped Ahli close the gap on leaders Smouha to three points but the latter have a game in hand.
