Essam Al-Hadari has been named in Egypt's squad for the friendly game against Bosnia next month.

After choosing six foreign-based players, Egypt coach Shawki Gharib announced a full list of 22 on Wednesday, with Al-Hadari the major significance.

The 41-year-old has been out of favor for Gharib's predecessor Bob Bradley, which saw him play no part in any game during 2013.

Six uncapped players earned their first cal-up in Shawki Al-Saied and Ibrahim Hassan (Ismaili), Khaled Kamar (Police Union), Mohamed Farouk (Arab Contractors), Mohamed Ragab (Petrojet) and Amr Gamal (Ahli).

Surprisingly, Gharib opted not to choose a single player from Zamalek.

Egypt squad:

Goalkeepers: Essam l-Hadari, Sherif Ekrami, Ahmed Al-Shennawi.

Defenders: Ahmed Saied 'Ouka', Shawki Al-Saied, Ali Ghazal, Ahmed Fathi, Rami Rabiea, Ahmed Elmohamady.

Midfielders: Ahmed Hamoudi, Tarek Hamed, Ibrahim Abdul-Khalek, Ibrahim Hassan, Mohamed Elneny, Hossa Ghaly, Saleh Gomaa.

Strikers: Mohamed Salah, Geddo, Amr Gamal, Mohamed Ragab, Mohamed Farouk, Khaled Kamar.
