Real Madrid defender Michel Salgado said on Tuesday that his Brazilian teammates Robinho and Julio Baptista haven't adjusted yet to the atmosphere of the Bernabeu.

"Robinho and Baptista still feel uncomfortable in Real because they play under big pressure and the results didn't help them to show their real abilities," Salgado told Spanish paper Marca.

The Spanish giants signed Baptista and Robinho, from Sevilla and Brazilian side Santos respectively, in the summer to reinforce their squad after a below-par season in which they failed to win silverware.

But both of the international strikers failed to prove his worth as Robinho scored three goals while Baptista, once known as the 'Beast' for his superb scoring talents, found the net only twice.

Salgado, however, still sees the silver lining, recalling the cases of Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos when they first arrived in Madrid.

"The same problems have faced Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos in the past, but they feel good now," the Spanish international said.

Real are now third in the Spanish league with 29 points, leading Villareal on goal difference and eight adrift of leaders and title holders Barcelona.
