Liverpool forward Djibril Cisse insisted that he will stay at the Anfield amid reports linking him with a move to Marseille in the January transfer window.

"I just want to make myself clear. I am in Liverpool and I'm going to stay in Liverpool," Cisse told Sky Sports on Friday.

"I don't want to leave after two seasons. I don't know why I'm going to leave. The Liverpool fans are amazing, the club is amazing. We have a good team, a good manager and everything is okay," he added.

The former Auxerre forward has been linked with a move to French giants Marseille after their chairman Pape Diouf expressed his interest in signing the speedy hit-man.

Cisse is down the pecking order at Liverpool as coach Rafael Benitez opts to use duo Fernando Morientes and Peter Crouch up front.

The French international said he is unhappy with all rumors surrounding his future while stating that his upcoming days lie in the Merseyside.

"I'm really fed up with all this speculation about me," the French international said.

"I'm going to move to Marseille, it's always Marseille, and it starts to be boring," he added.

Cisse played 28 matches for Liverpool this season and scored 12 goals in all competitions.
