من يمكنه الفوز بخدمات ميدو في النهاية؟

Egypt striker Ahmed Hossam "Mido" ruled out a return to Serie A side AS Roma, stating his desire in staying in the ranks of Tottenham.

Mido, on an 18-month loan from Roma to Tottenham, said he turned down a chance to return to the Italian side.

The 22-year-old striker voiced his interest in prolonging his Premiership stay through a long-term deal with the Spurs.

"Roma wanted me to come back to help them in Serie A, but I refused because as I said before I want to stay at Tottenham," Mido was quoted as saying by Sky Sports News on Wednesday.

The former Ajax forward said he felt at home at White Hart Lane thanks to the friendly atmosphere he is experiencing with coach Martin Jol and his teammates.

"I am pleased to be playing with friends like Robbie Keane and Edgar Davids who are stars for the club and their countries. My relationship with the manager is good,” he said.

Mido said playing in the Premier League was a life-long dream and that he is making the best of it so far.

"I feel my experience at Spurs is successful and I am really happy with it, because since a young age I've always wanted to play in the English Premier League.

"I feel this is the best and most important experience for me," he added.

Mido was named in Egypt’s squad for the African Cup of Nations taking place in his home country from January 20th to February 10th.
