The 30-man Senegal contingent was relocated from Port Said, where they will be playing their Group D matches, to Ismailia upon their request.
Senegal players were treated to a segment of folkloric dances and songs upon their arrival in their new residence in the Ismailia Olympic village.
Senegal coach Abdoulaye Sarr told Filgoal.com that his team came to Egypt in search of the African title.
“It will be a tough task, not only for us, but for all the competing teams,” Sarr said.
Senegal play their first match against Zimbabwe on Monday in their Group D that also includes Ghana and Nigeria.
