Real Madrid came from a goal down to beat Cadiz 3-1 in their Primera Liga match on Saturday.

The Capital-side seemed on their way to yet another local defeat when Uruguayan striker Alexandre Medina put the visitors ahead in the 55th minute.

Roberto Carlos leveled the score for the Galacticos before strikes from David Beckham and Robinho sealed the victory.

The win put Real tentatively in third place in La Liga table on 36 points while Cadiz remain in 15th spot on 20 points.

Medina made the best of Real’s lackluster defense but needed two chances to score past goalkeeper Iker Casillas ten minutes after restart.

Carlos grabbed the equalizer from a 68th minute set-piece when he unleashed a wall-splitting drive into the bottom corner of Cadiz’s net.

Three minutes later England captain Beckham curled another free-kick home to put the home side ahead.

Brazilian forward Robinho put the game out of reach for the visitors with a brilliant dipping shot with seven minutes left to play.

Earlier on Saturday, Atletico Madrid disposed of Real Zaragoza with a 2-0 win, courtesy of goals from Rodriguez and Fernando Torres.
