Cairo Stadium-Ahmed Maher: Gamal Mubarak, the eldest son of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, is in attendance at the Cairo International Stadium to support the Egyptian national team in the pivotal game against Morocco in Group A of the African Nations Cup.

Mubarak, the head of the NDP's policy-making committee, told Filgoal.com that he is a close follower of the Egyptian team and does his best to support them.

“I always attend the Egyptian team’s practices and matches,” Mubarak told Filgoal.com exclusively ahead of Tuesday’s game.

Gamal, who is watching the game from the first class seats along with brother Alaa, said he was happy to see Egyptian fans supporting Libya in their game against Ivory Coast, which preceded Egypt’s game.

“I love sitting among the fans, it’s good to see them supporting our Libyan neighbors too,” he said.

Libya are virtually eliminated from the African Cup after losing to Ivory Coast 2-1, their second defeat of the tournament.
