Egypt's players are preparing for Ivory Coast game
Cairo Stadium-Ahmad Saied and Ahmed Maher: The Egyptian national team trained behind closed doors on Wednesday as coach Hassan Shehata banned reporters from attending the session.

The 45-minute training focused on muscle-stretching and fitness with all players taking part, media officer Mostafa Balbaa told FilGoal.com.

Captain Hossam Hassan looked sharp and found the net more than once in the warm-up game that concluded the training, he added.

Shehata also decided to ban the media from the hotel and ordered players to stay in their rooms after training.

The hosts will resume training in the Cairo International Stadium on Thursday but whether media will be allowed or not remains unclear.

Shehata's side were held to a goalless draw by Morocco in their Group A match on Tuesday.

Egypt are second with four points, two behind Ivory Coast whom they will play in the last group-stage game on Saturday.
