African Cup of Nations (ACN) medical committee announced that all the matches, up till Egypt’s Group A final-round match on Saturday, were dope-free after examining random samples from the players.

“We sent the random samples we collected from the players to Tunisia for testing, and they all proved negative,” medical committee member Magdi Mahmoud told Filgoal.com on Sunday.

Two samples are taken from four random players in each match for testing in Tunisia, with the last samples taken from Egypt skipper Hossam Hassan, midfielder Mohamed Abdul-Wahab.

On the other hand, the African Cup organizing committee asked the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for reimbursement for the damages done by Group B fans in the Military Academy stadium

CAF agreed to the organizing committee request and asked them to take care of the damages and they will be reimbursed later.

Cameroon, Angola, Togo and DR Congo fans cost stadium officials LE 20,000 worth of damage.

Group B final round will continue on Sunday when Cameroon play DR Congo and Angola face Togo.
