Saudi club Al-Wehda midfielder Sayed Abdul-Hafiz insisted that he wanted coach Lotfi Al-Benzarti to include him in the startling line-up for their semi-finals match against Hilal in the Crown Prince Cup on Thursday.

“I want to play the match against Hilal, but it is up to coach Al-Benzarti to decided whether I will feature in the starting line-up or not. In all cases, it is important to focus on the first-leg before worrying about the second-leg,” Abdul-Hafiz told Saudi daily Al-Watan.

Asked about his opinion on Hilal, Abdul-Hafiz said: “Hilal are on of the oldest teams in Saudi Arabia and they have a very good reputation in the Arab world, especially with such a host of top-notch players, but we will be their match.”

Abdul-Hafiz also said that the late Al-Wehda player Mohamed Al-Luhiani, who passed away a few days ago in a car accident, had wished to see his team reach the Crown Prince Cup finals and that it would make their mission even harder to fulfill his dream.
