Senegal players train in Cairo

Cairo International Stadium Ahmad Saied and Ahmed Maher: Senegal captain Ferdinand Coly is set to miss his side's game against Egypt in the African Cup of Nations semis, FilGoal.com learnt.

The 33-year-old defender didn't take part in the last training on Monday and just revolved around the track before the session started.

Pape Diakhate is likely to replace Coly in the starting line-up in Tuesday's game.

Bolton star El-Hadji Diouf participated in the whole session and looked in a good form despite reports suggested that he is not fit for the game.

Either Frederic Mendy or Mamadou Niang will be partnering Henri Camara in the front line in case Diouf wouldn't start.

The 90-minute training was concluded with spot-kicks rehearsal in which second-choice goalkeeper Papa Diouf put on an outstanding display parrying more than one shot.

Senegal will play host nation Egypt in the semis in Cairo while World Cup side Ivory Coast will take on Nigeria in Alexandria earlier on Tuesday.
