Zamalek players have threatened to boycott the team's training as their financial dispute with the club board continues.

The players have asked the Zamalek board for their first contract installment which was due at the conclusion of the first stage of the local league.

The deal previously agreed between the players and the administration dictates that they should receive the equivalent of 25% of their contract.

Meanwhile, a Zamalek insider source told Filgoal.com on Monday that club vice president Hamada Emam has opened negotiations with Enppi skipper Samir Sabri to join the team starting next season.

The 30-year-old midfielder was a member of Egypt's African Nations Cup winning campaign, without being capped, and captained Enppi to the Egyptian Cup title last season.
