Recoba left the team's traning on Tuesday with a thigh strain and he will undergo medicals in the next few days to assess the seriousness of the injury, Inter confirmed on their website.

The Uruguayan is the second player to sustain an injury during Inter's preparations for the Champions League knock-out stage.

Argentinean midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron was also ruled out of the game with a sprained right-ankle.
