Ittihad Jeddah beat Qadisiya 2-0 in the Saudi league round-19 match that took place on Friday, while Al-Shabab maintained their top-spot with a new victory over Al-Taie also with the same result.

Mohamed Nour and newly-signed Ghanaian striker Prince scored Ittihad’s goals in the 24th and 54th minutes, respectively.

Ittihad jumped to the third place in the Saudi league standings with a tally of 29 points, with four postponed matches to go, and Qadisiya remain at 10th place with 16 points, while Al-Shabab maintained the status as the local league leaders with 41 points.

Elsewhere, Al-Hazm defeated Al-Ansar 2-0 in the same round.
