"I know Czech players and I know they are of high quality. I have been watching Pavel Nedved for a long time," Mourinho said.
"Despite his age, he is still one of the best players in the world. He has a great talent," the Portuguese tactician added.
While expressing his admiration for Nedved, Mourinho conceded that it is too difficult to tempt the Czech Republic ace to move away from the Stadio Delle Alpi.
"But Nedved doesn't want to play for Chelsea. I think he wants to finish his career at Juventus."
The former Porto coach is looking to reinforce his squad for next season, as he revealed earlier that Bayern Munich skipper Michael Ballack is a target for the English champions.
