Mohsen Saleh is set to fly to Libya to open talks with local officials over the managerial post of the national team, the former Egypt coach said on Thursday.

"I will discuss my ideas for the future with the Libyan officials and listen to their views as well," Saleh told FilGoal.com.

"We haven't agreed on any financial details so far but we will tackle this issue if we agreed a deal."

Saleh have led the Egypt twice in 1995 and 2004 guiding the team to the African Cup of Nations finals in both times.

He also coached Egyptian side Ismaili to winning the Egyptian Cup trophy in 2001 followed by the local league title one year later.

Saleh had also a short spell in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr club in 2004 before moving on to train Al-Arabi of Kuwait but was sacked in November due to bad results.
