Ismailia – Yasser El-Sherif: Ismaili boss Theo Buecker expressed his happiness in his side’s 2-1 victory over Arab Contractors and insisted that he was thrilled with his players’ determination throughout the match.

“We needed this victory to maintain our positive Egyptian league campaign in the second round and to make up all the points we lost in the first round,” Buecker told Filgoal.com exclusively on Thursday.

Ismaili beat Arab Contractors 2-1 in their Egyptian league round-18 match that took place on Wednesday.

“This victory will help boost our morale before our highly-anticipated match against Zamalek on Tuesday,” Buecker added.

The German caretaker also insisted that winning their coming match against powerhouse Zamalek would only be the dawn of a new era for Ismaili, in addition to that it would catapult them to the league’s front rows.

Buecker revealed that he was currently studying Zamalek’s last 1-0 victory over Harras Al-Hodoud to analyze Manuel Cajuda’s style of coaching to prepare the necessary counter-plan.

Buecker is expected to choose the starting-eleven in addition to choosing the replacements for Sherif Abdul-Fadil and Mohamed Gouda who will automatically miss the important match after receiving their second suspension during the side’s last match.
