"Mido’s groin is okay," Jol told the Spurs’ official website on Thursday.
"He had a tear in it and some bleeding so normally you would expect him to be out for a couple of weeks but he's a strong guy," he added.
Mido sustained a groin problem that saw him sidelined during Tottenham’s last 2-0 victory over Birmingham City last weekend.
Tottenham come at fourth place in the Premiership standings with a tally of 52 points, two points ahead of sixth-placed Arsenal.
