Arsenal veterans Sol Campbell and Freddie Ljunberg have been ruled out of their side's Champions League encounter against Juventus on Tuesday through injury, the London club said.
"I wanted to play Sol. But I cannot because he could not practice Monday. He got a kick so it will be two or three days for him," Wenger was quoted as saying by Arsenal's official website.
"Freddie Ljungberg had a setback on his calf last week so he will not make it," the Frenchman said.
Campbell has been out since February 1st with a sprained ankle while Swede midfielder Ljungberg picked-up a calf injury during Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Liverpool earlier this month.
Arsenal host their former captain Patrick Vieira and Juventus in the first leg of the quarter-finals at Highbury, with the second leg set to be played at the Stadio Delle Alpi after two weeks.
