Ahmed Hassan's side Besiktas were held to a 1-1 draw by Denizlispor in the Turkish league on Wednesday.

Alessandro Andrade De Oliveira snatched a first minute lead for Denizlispor before Kleberson put Besiktas at level three minutes after restart.

The tie increased Besiktas' point tally to 43 as they slipped to fifth place, allowing Genclerbirligi to step into 4th after bagging their 44th point.

Genclerbirligi, for which Ayman Abdul-Aziz plays, enjoyed a 2-1 over Ankaraspor in the Turkish capital derby.

Meanwhile, Beshir Al-Tabie's Rizespor held Samsunspor to a goalless draw, moving up to 13th spot with 30 points.
