Alexandria - Hani Al-Awadi: Rwandian club Rayon Sports boss Gilbert Kanyankole insisted that they came to Egypt to beat Ittihad Alexandria in their African Confederation Cup to ensure their qualification to the round of 16.

“We only play to win and my team can score goals, and if we play only to hold a team who’s only goal is to win, we wont qualify,” Kanyankole told FilGoal exclusively on Friday.

Rayon Sports beat Ittihad 1-0 in the first-leg that took place in Kigali and will play the second leg on Sunday.

The Rwandan team delegation arrived late to Alexandria after demanding that they be transported via plane, but Ittihad officials explained that it was a short trip between the two cities.

Rayon Sports are scheduled to conduct their final training on Saturday on the same venue that will host the match.

Rayon Sports come at second place in the Rwandan league, three points behind the leaders.
