Ismaili players will receive exceptional bonuses after being treated unfairly by referees during their recent defeats against Ahli and Zamalek, the club said Friday.

"We decided to raise bonuses for players to take them out of frustration after losing twice because of refereeing mistakes," Ismaili president Raafat Abdul-Azim told FilGoal.com.

Every player will receive an extra 1000 EGP because they were committed to true sporting behavior and didn't protest the controversial decisions, he said.

Ismaili lost 2-1 to Zamalek at home and team skipper Mohamed Soliman 'Homos' was handed a controversial second yellow card that sent him off the game and banned him for their next game.

In Ahli's match, Ismaili conceded two debatable goals from the spot-kick and a last-gasp header from an apparently offside position.

They were also denied a clear penalty for Mohamed Gouda, who was cautioned for diving instead.

Abdul-Azim said the administration filed an official appeal to the Egyptian FA against referees and demanded to drop Gouda's yellow card.

Ismaili are seventh in the local standings on 26 points.
