The Egyptian international put Ahli ahead two minutes after the break before doubling the lead in the 90th minute. Hossam Ashour sealed the victory deep into injury time.
Ahli are 10 points clear at the top of the table, just six points away from winning their second successive league title.
Cement remained second from the bottom on 18 points.
Ahli need at least a draw with Suez Cement in the next round to tie Zamalek's record of consecutive unbeaten run, halted at 52 games.
The champions almost opened the score line in the third minute but Mohamed Abdul-Wahab's powerful free-kick was blocked by Cement keeper Walid Ibrahim.
Cement striker Amr Allam answered in the 14th minute when he steered a powerful header at Essam Al-Hadari who converted it into a corner-kick.
Hassan Mostafa missed a great opportunity to put Ahli ahead in the 31st minute when he sent the ball into the keeper's hand from close range.
Abou-Treika, who was fielded for injured Wael Riyadh, broke the deadlock in the 47th minute when he fired a powerful shot into the top corner of the net.
Ahli dominated the rhythm but couldn't find the net until the dying seconds when Abou-Treika darted into the area before squeezing the ball home from an acute angle.
Ashour put the last nail in Cement's coffin in the 94th minute when he benefited from a goal-mouth scramble to round the keeper and slot home.
