Al-Shayeb, who still has three more years to go with Ittihad, signed a deal with Enppi that will prohibit him from moving to any other club except Enppi, am informed source told FilGoal.com exclusively.
Al-Shayeb’s agent, Tamer Al-Nahas, insisted that the player opened serious talks with Enppi, but stressed that they have yet to finalize any deals with the Cairo-based club.
Enppi are expected to be tabling 1.5-million EGP, in addition to Ahmed Salah and Mohamed Gaber and an annual 500,000 EGP for a period of three years.
A reply from Al-Shayeb was unavailable given his presence with Ittihad’s African Confederation Cup match against Tunisian club Esperance.
The 22-year-old played a pivotal role in his side’s Egypt Cup campaign last season after leading them to the finals, before losing to Enppi. Zamalek and Ismaili were also reported to eye Al-Shayeb.
