"The club decided to axe Gouda for assaulting teammate Abdullah Al-Saied after the team's game against Aluminum," the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com's correspondent in Ismailia.
Gouda is currently suspended for attacking Al-Saied in the dressing room after a quarrel between them during the game.
"German coach Theo Bucker recommended the club to get rid of Gouda who doesn't follow instructions and continuously loses his temper, which were the same reasons he was released by his two former clubs Ahli and Ankaragucu," stated the official.
The 27-year-old Gouda, who is under contract with Ismaili till 2007, was given the green-light to start looking for a new club, the official said.
On the other side, the official said that Ismaili has agreed a potential extension deal with skipper Mohamed Soliman "Hommos" on the same terms on which veteran teammate Sayed Moawad extended his contract with few days earlier.
Hommos' contract with Ismaili runs out at the end of next season.
