Ismailia - Yasser El-Sherif: Ismaili midfielder Mohamed Gouda insisted that he doesn’t know the reason behind the club board’s decision to let-go of him and indicated that the alibis he received were totally unconvincing.

"Ismaili officials told me that my temper was the reason they wanted me out, but there’s nothing new about my temper, everybody knows about it and they knew about it before they even signed me," Gouda told FilGoal.com exclusively on Friday.

"The truth is that Ismaili officials wanted to avoid embarrassment when they felt my desire to leave the club," Gouda added.

An Ismaili board member announced on Wednesday that the club informed Gouda that his services were no longer required, and that he was told to search for another club for disciplinary reasons.

The 27-year-old Gouda assaulted teammate Abdullah Al-Saied in the lockers following Ismaili’s victory against Aluminum two weeks ago.

The Former Ahli player also stated that German coach Theo Buecker doesn’t prefer dealing with star players and that he rather deal with youth players.

On the other hand, Gouda revealed that he received an offer to join French side Sochaux next season, and that club scouts have already watched him play in one of Ismaili's recent games.

Nevertheless, Gouda indicated that Sochaux have the maximum number of foreign players in their squad and that the may put him up for loan to another club or loan one of their players to bring him in.

Socaux, who loaned Egyptian player Ahmed Samir Farag to Ahli, hold 16th place in the French Ligue 1 with 37 points from 35 games.
