Hassan told FilGoal.com exclusively on Tuesday that he suffered a muscle strain in his leg during training, which will probably rule him out of Wednesday's clash.

The veteran midfielder, who turns 31 today, said he was disappointed to be missing out on such an important clash.

"My chances of recovering ahead of the match are very slim," said Hassan. "I'm really devastated because I was preparing well for the game."

"This was going to be the only chance for me to win a title with Besiktas before I quit the club at the end of the season.

Hassan has played in the Turkish Cup final once before with his former club Genclerbirligi.
