Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insisted that Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba will be going nowhere in the summer, and stressed that the club won't allow him to leave at any price.

"He has two years left on his deal, and we consider him to be not negotiable," Mourinho told Sky Sports on Friday.

Drogba, who helped Chelsea win their second consecutive Premier League title after scoring 16 goals this season, had shockingly requested to leave, claiming that he had enough of British media attacks on him after he admitted diving in some games.

"It's not a joke, i want to move on and avoid all the pressures and the scandals, those things hurt my feelings," Drogba told The Sun.

"I want a place where I can play freely with no draw backs, I'd prefer Italy but anywhere I go I'll find Champions League waiting for me," he added.

Drogba's statements fueled speculations about his future at Stamford Bridge, as a number of clubs, including French outfits Marseille and Lyon, have already shown interest in signing him.

On the other hand, Mourinho didn’t hide his dismay towards Drogba's attitude, even though he said the club would be clinging to him.

"If Drogba plays with happiness it's fantastic as we'll get the best of him, if not he doesn’t play, that's his problem," Mourinho said.

Meanwhile, Mourinho said that despite his interest in signing AC Milan's Anderiy Shevchenko, it still would be very difficult as the Italian giants want to keep him.

"Milan have the power with Shevchenko like we have the power with Drogba, but I've got the feeling they don’t want to sell him," he considered.

"I like the player and would like to have him, but a lot of clubs like Drogba and can't have him."
