Ekrami, Saied out of Spain's trip

Egypt manager Hassan Shehata has ruled out Feyenoord keeper Sherif Ekrami and Masri defender Hani Saied from the 21-man squad chosen for the friendly against Spain in the Spanish city of Elche on Sunday.

Egypt manager Hassan Shehata has ruled out Feyenoord keeper Sherif Ekrami and Masri defender Hani Saied from the 21-man squad chosen for the friendly against Spain in the Spanish city of Elche on Sunday.

Uncapped Sherif Al-Beyali Arab Contractors, Mahmoud Fathalla of Ghazl Mahalla, and Mohamed 'Hamada' Youssef of Ittihad Alexandria were also omitted from the squad that is due to travel to Spain on Monday.

The squad:

Goalkeepers: Essam Al-Hadari (Ahli), Mohamed Abdul-Monsef (Zamalek), Mostafa Kamal (Enppi).

Defenders: Emad Al-Nahhas, Wael Gomaa, Mohamed Abdul-Wahab (Ahli), Ahmed Fathi (Ismaili), Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa (Konyaspor/Turkey), Ahmed Abou-Mosallam (Strasbourg/France).

Midfielders: Hassan Mostafa, Mohamed Shawki, Mohamed Barakat, Mohamed Abou-Treika (Ahli), Ahmed Al-Muhammadi (Ghazl Mahalla), Moetazbellah Mohamed 'Eno', Ahmed Hassan (Anderlecht/Belgium), Hosny Abd-Rabou (Strasbourg/France).

Strikers: Emad Meteb (Ahli), Abdul-Halim Ali, Gamal Hamza, Mostafa Gaafar (Zamalek), Ahmed Eid (Harras Al Hodoud).
