The Egyptian FA asked Ahli to confirm whether they will participate in the fourth edition of the Arab Champions League (ACL) or not, the Egyptian champions said on Sunday.

An Ahli source familiar with the issue told FilGoal.com on condition of anonymity that the club administration is likely to refuse taking part in the tournament.

Ahli have abandoned the ACL since the second edition due to disputes with the United Arab Football Association (UAFA).

On another hand, Ahli marketing director Adli Al-Keaay said the club didn't receive any offers for Angolan striker Flavio Amado.

Al-Keaay also denied any bids from Saudi sides for playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika and right-back Islam Al-Shater.
