Al-Hodoud players produced a dismal form

Zamalek president Mortada Mansour is set to open talks with Harras Al-Hodoud regarding playmaker Abdul-Salam Nagah.

Nagah met with Mansour in his office in Cairo on Wednesday where they agreed a deal that will see the player make EGP 1.5 million over three years, a Zamalek insider source told FilGoal.com on Wednesday

Mansour is set to meet with officials from the Alexandrian club to finalize the deal in the upcoming days.

The 22-year-old midfielder is under contract with Al-Hodoud until 2010, which could place him under scrutiny if his club deems his agreement with Zamalek illegitimate.

According to FIFA regulations, a player who is under contract with a club cannot engage in talks with another club until six months before his original contract expires.

Zamalek have also tightened their grip on Al-Gaish midfielder Abdul-Sattar Sabri.

The former Egypt international agreed terms with the Cairo powerhouse but will require approval from Al-Gaish to complete the deal.

A source close to the player told Filgoal.com that Sabri spoke with Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri to discuss the possibility of joining the Egyptian champions.

But, according to the source, no agreement has been reached between the two parties.

Zamalek had announced on Wednesday that they agreed a deal with Lokomotiv Moscow to acquire the services of Egypt striker Amr Zaki.
