Ismaili close on Abdul-Wahed, Fathallah

Talks between Ismaili club and Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Abdul-Wahed have reached their final stages, paving the way for the player to join the Ismailia-based club next season.

Ismailia-Yasser Al-Sherif: Talks between Ismaili club and Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Abdul-Wahed have reached their final stages, paving the way for the player to join the Ismailia-based club next season.

An Ismaili board member told FilGoal.com's correspondent in Ismailia on Wednesday that both parties agreed the terms of the contract.

The Ismaili official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, also aid that the club is close to signing Mahalla's Mahmoud Fathallah for a fee that he described as "huge".

Ismaili also opened talks with Zamalek club to acquire the services of goalkeeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef and defender Wael Al-Qabani, while Zamalek noted their interest in Moetasem Salem andYoussef Gamal, the source added.

Ismaili's board has reportedly agreed to release Salem after consulting with German manager Theo Buecker.

The Dervishes are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of next season following their dismal results in the past two years.
