"The coaching staff consists of Zobel as head coach, Ramzi as coach, Khaled Metwalli and Mohamed Youssef as assistant coaches and Ibrahim Riad as the goalkeepers' coach," Enppi football director Alaa Abdul-Sadek told FilGoal.com on Saturday.
Enppi signed the German coach on a deal that will see him receive a $13,250 monthly salary, hotel accommodation and personal transportation in addition to a $50,000 down payment, deductible from his salary.
Zobel had guided Ahli to win the Egyptian league twice, in 1998 and 1999, and the Arab Super Cup also in 1998 before suffering successive failures in the African Champions League.
The German coach also took over as Ittihad Alexandria coach for one year in 2002 but without any results before settling in UAE club Al-Sharjah.
On the other hand, Abdul-Sadek revealed that the club signed Al-Gounas' Mozambican defender Manu for $15,000 alongside Asyut Cement’s Emad Othman and Hussein Farouk from Souhag Nile.
The Arab Champions League runners-up have earlier signed Ibrahim Al-Shayeb from Ittihad Alexandria, Al-Sharkeyah Smoke duo Reda Gomaa and Mohamed Ahmed and Ghazl Mahalla duo Ahmed Al-Muhammadi and Reda Metwalli.
