Ivory Coast play in Group C alongside two-time champions Argentina, two-time world Cup finalists and former European champions Holland and Serbia and Montenegro.
"We'll give absolutely everything against Argentina and I've got confidence in this squad," Eboue told the Guardian.
"In the games that we have had we have shown that we can be a good country.
"I've said to my African brothers that we cannot be scared of the big players, that we have to have confidence."
Eboue helped his country to reach the African Cup of Nations final match and played a pivotal role in Arsenal's campaign towards their first appearance ever in the Champions League final this season.
He said he believes that the African game has been developed greatly over the past few years.
"Honestly, African football has evolved," the 23-year-old right back said.
"In Africa there are great players and the people know they can count on us. If we play like we can we will have no problems."
