Ahli left-back Mohamed Abdul-Wahab opened the score line in the 20th minute before Meteb doubled the lead 13 minutes later.

The international striker sealed the win midway through the second-half to set Egyptian Champions Ahli on course for the domestic double.

Ahli qualified to play Harras Al-Hodoud, who edged Masri 2-1, in the semis on Tuesday.

Zamalek will take on title holders Enppi and Ismaili will host second-division side Kafr Al-Sheikh in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
