Roma sign French youngster

AS Roma have signed young midfielder Ricardo Faty from French side Strasbourg, Italian magazine CalcioItalia reported on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old has agreed a five-year-contract with the Italian club and Strasbourg will be paid 250,000 Sterling Pounds.

Faty will receive around one million Sterling pounds before tax per season.

Roma, whom Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam plays for, are willing to reinforce their squad before next season's Serie A and UEFA Cup.
