Amir Azmi Megahed's chances of returning to Zamalek had received a major blow after reaching an agreement with Greek club PAOK regarding his financial earnings.

Megahed was reported to be considering a move back to Zamalek after PAOK refused to pay him his salary for seven months after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury.

"PAOK paid half of the sum and we agreed a payment schedule for the rest of the money," Azmi told FilGoal.com exclusively on Thursday.

The Egyptian defender, who has two years on his contract with PAOK, had given the Greek club a Friday ultimatum for paying his money and threatened to get the issue all the way up to FIFA.

Megahed has insisted that he anted to return to Zamalek to help them in their new season but said that it was out of his hands now.
