Ittihad signed Enppi goalkeeper Essam Mahmoud on a two-year deal for 500,000 EGP and Talae Al-Gaish player Aboul-Enein Shehata and Masri's Ahmed Hassan on two-year deals for 300,000 EGP each, Ittihad vice president Mohamed Moseilhi told FilGoal.com.
Itthad are also negotiating a deal with Hanafi who asked for 300,000 EGP per year, while the club only offered 250,000 EGP.
Moseilhi also said that the club were seeking a deal with Al-Hodoud defender Ehab Abdul-Magid after team manager Helmi Toulan agreed to let him go.
On the other hand, Serbian boss Slobodan Pavkovic “Bob” asked Ittihad's board to let-go trio Ayman Zakaria, Hani Sami and Sabri Al-Meseiri for their below-par performance, but treasurer Hesham Al-Turki turned down his recommendation given that the players received their contracts' downpayments.
