Arsenal new-signing Tomas Rosicky said he is confident of finding success in England despite his small size in comparison to Premiership's players.

Former Dortmund midfielder Rosicky, 1.75m and 67kg, faces questions whether his physical shape will help him play in the tougher Premiership or not but he has no doubt of his abilities.

"I know the game will be faster and harder in the Premiership and there is a lot of tough work ahead," Rosicky said in an interview with the UEFA official magazine.

"I also know some people think it will take time for me to adapt, but I've not had problems before settling in at a new club.

"I'm not a muscle man, but that doesn't mean I can't play in the Premiership. In the Bundesliga, they kicked me, but I still succeeded."

The Czech international was linked with a move to Atletico Madrid but Arsenal snapped up his services when the Spanish club failed to meet the price tag.

Although his country suffered a first-round exit from the World Cup, Rosicky showed a bit of what he can do as he scored twice and was his team's best player in the three encounters.

Now, Rosicky is excited about playing again in the Champions League after missing the European action for three seasons.

"I like playing in the Champions League, it's what I've missed. I gained a lot of experience in this competition," he said.

"I have not set any personal targets in London. I am here to be useful and to do my best for the Gunners."
