Former African Champions Enyimba of Nigeria kicked off their quarter finals campaign with a 2-0 win over Hearts of Oak in Ghana on Sunday.

Joseph Amadi scored Enyimba's first in the 13th minute, and after Hearts' Dan Qwaye missed a penalty for the hosts in the 75th minute, a Kwabena Boafo own goal sealed the win for the Nigerians ten minutes from time.

The win leaves Enyimba on top of quarter final group B, with Hearts at the bottom of the group.

Other group B contenders, South African club Orlando Pirates and Asec Abidjan of Ivory Coast are set to meet on Tuesday after their clash was postponed due to a friendly game between Pirates and Manchester United.
