Zamalek coach Manuel Cajuda has expelled Tarek Al-Sayed from Wednesday's training after an angry exchange, FilGoal.com learnt.

A verbal spat erupted as Cajuda had several remarks over Al-Sayed's performance during the training and criticized him more than once.

The veteran left-back didn't accept his coach's criticism saying that he is an international player and shouldn't be addressed this way, only for Cajuda to dismiss him.

The Portuguese manager decided after the session to send Al-Sayed to train with the youth team indefinitely.

A fuming Al-Sayed has reportedly demanded to part ways with Zamalek after the incident. Al-Sayed wasn't available for an immediate comment.

Meanwhile, Zamalek-target Amr Al-Safti has attended the team's training on Wednesday but it wasn't clear whether the deal was sealed or not.

Al-Safti took part in the last ten minutes of the session but didn't participate in the pattern that concluded the training.

Zamalek are believed to be close on landing Al-Safti from Masri but both sides haven't agreed the financial terms yet.

On another hand, Ghanaian international goalkeeper George Owu has arrived in Cairo and began his trial period with Zamalek.

Owu, who plays for Ghanaian side Asanti Gold, was a member of his national team's squad that played in the World Cup in Germany but he never featured in the tournament.
