Harras Al-Hodoud board has sacked coach Helmi Toulan on Sunday, citing unannounced disputes with the former Zamalek coach.

A well informed source at the club told FilGoal.com that Toulan will be replaced by his former assistant, Tarek Al-Ashri, adding that Ashri will work with the same technical staff that worked under Toulan.

Al-Ashri previously led Hodoud to the Egyptian Premier League and assisted Toulan before leaving the club to coach Alexandrian side Smouha.

Hodoud were on the rise since their promotion to the Premier League, putting on strong performances against Egypt's traditional powerhouses.

They also had short experiences in the Arab Champions League and the African Confederation Cup under Toulan.
