The match will be between Ahli and Saudi counterparts Ahli Jeddah in Cairo.

"I agreed the date with (coach) Manuel Jose and (assistant coach) Hossam Al-Badri," Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com late on Tuesday.

However, the former Egypt international said the Saudi side is yet to confirm its participation.

"Ahli sent a fax to the Saudi club," he said. "We'll wait and see."

Abdul-Hafiz was grateful for the words of praise that Enppi coach Rainer Zobel showered him with.

"Zobel and I had a very good working relationship when he was in charge of Ahli," said Abdul-Hafiz.

Zobel had described Abdul-Hafiz as a "talented player" after Enppi's Egyptian Super Cup match against Ahli on Sunday.
