Algerian giants JS Kabylie are suffering from a depleted squad ahead of their African Champions League match against Ahli on Saturday.

Kabylie have only 14 players ready for Saturday's clash as five of their players are sidelined through injury, Algerian paper Al-Khabar reported on Wednesday.

The Algerian contingent is set to arrive in Cairo early on Thursday without injured players Nourdine Drioueche, Anouar Boudjakdji and Omar Daoud who is suspended for the game.

Meanwhile, Sofiane Herkat and Fahem Ouslati have recovered from injury and are expected to play against Ahli.

Kabylie's opponents, Ahli, are suffering from the same problem.

The defending champions have six players injured, including playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika, while duo Shadi Mohamed and Emad Meteb are suspended for the clash.

Kabylie share the summit of Group A on three points with Sfaxien of Tunisia.
