Saudi Arabian giants Ittihad Jeddah will add Jared Borgetti to the squad after their bid for the Mexican striker was accepted by the Bolton Wanderers this weekend.

Bolton coach Sam Allardyce confirmed that a bid had been accepted for the 32-year-old forward, who is still working out the personal terms with the former Asian champions.

"Jared has not traveled to Spain with the squad and I am hopeful the deal will go through this week," Allardyce told the club's official website.

"It hasn't worked out for Jared at Bolton. He needs to find regular football to enhance his career prospects."

Borgetti, who joined Bolton from Mexican side Pachuca, failed to gain a first-team spot, scoring seven goals in 32 appearances for the Trotters.
