Al-Sayed underwent a surgery in Germany after tearing the internal ligament in his right knee.
"I will undergo an intensive fitness program starting from Tuesday and I am supposed to be playing after one month," he told FilGoal.com.
Since the 29-year-old international collected the injury in April, Zamalek have been looking for a replacement as second-choice goalie Mohamed Abdul-Monsef failed to impress.
Despite being included in Zamalek's squad for the next season, Abdul-Monsef had fallen out with coach Manuel Cajuda, who told him to search for a new club.
Al-Sayed refused to comment on this dispute.
Cajuda opted for reserve keeper Wael Zenga in the Egyptian League opener against Mahalla but he conceded an easy goal as Zamalek lost their first curtain-raiser since 1993.
