Following a meeting between Gharbeya governor and security officials in the city, Tanta have been given the clearance to play their home League games at the Tanta stadium.
However, security officials prevented holding Tanta's home games against Ahli, Zamalek, Ismaili, Masri and Ittihad at the club's stadium due to security reasons.
Tanta, who are lying at the bottom of the Egyptian League table had to play their opening game against Ahli at Cairo Stadium as they weren't allowed to host the champions at Tanta stadium due to the same security reasons.
