The Ahli center back left to England to go on a trail period with Blackburn who expressed interest in the player earlier in August.
But Gomaa's agent told him that the move is unlikely to be sealed and that another English club is anticipating the situation.
"I didn't train with Blackburn yesterday (Sunday) and I am not scheduled to take part tomorrow as well," Gomaa told FilGoal.com in a phone call from London late on Monday.
"A move to Blackburn seems blocked as they signed a new center back to raise the players playing in my position to five.
"However, my agent informed me that another Premiership club was monitoring the situation and that they may table an offer by Tuesday."
Gomaa refused to unveil the club's name but said he will announce it on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old star was invited by Blackburn earlier this month but Ahli refused to let him go on for trail.
With Ahli's initial refusal, Blackburn went searching for a replacement and by the time Gomaa convinced his club the offer seems to be no longer available.
Gomaa helped Egypt win the African Cup of Nation in February as well as led his side to the domestic double and the African Champions League last season.
